I'm doing fine...just pretty much marking time until its time to go.....just managing my folks as they go about updating all the cabling here in our area...at this point, you have to guard against the "blahs" setting in, but since I've been thru 3 of these before this one, I'm trying to keep the troopies together.....

Nah....the civilian contractors are making about 20 times what we make to upgrade the outside....it would be a hell of a job to fix it...but it would be a gas....being a Signal guy, thats what we live for....to hook it up....connecting the world...

ONE glass of red wine a day is good for you... clear alcohol is supposed to be best (I heard Jackie say that on Workout giggle ) BUT watch it w/ the mixers - the sugar in them will fuck it all up...

I can't cut back on carbs completely, but I've completely swapped out the bad for the good. Whole wheat/whole grain ALWAYS, pasta only on occassion & carbs can only be eaten in the day time - can't be in my last meal of the night no matter what. After a certain hour it's egg whites/turkey/veggies ONLY, or I'll have a protein shake if I've been to the gym...

Eat more veggies than fruit - the fruit sugar can pile up like any other sugar can...

& it sounds like some weight lifting is in order, at least for your chest.

Good luck! biggrin I'm almost 3 months in on my workouts averaging 4-5 times a week woot! I wish I could report a huge weight loss BUT I think I sabotage myself w/ the AMOUNT of food I'm eating (not to mention the 1/2 glass of OJ in the morning & the one cookie I allow myself a day) neutral plus I always seem to slip up terribly on the weekends sad & did I mention that I had fast food TWICE last week?? omfg disbelief

Still, my clothes are fitting better & I'm toning up in areas that had NO muscle before. I'm scared to weigh these days but I'd say I've lost only 4-5 lbs so far. I really have to do better, I'm SO ready for this shit to come OFF pissed I just added 40 minutes on the treadmill to my routine (already do an hour on the elliptical) to compensate for my eating habits which I just can't clean up anymore (my changes are for life, not temporary - I cannot "diet")... if I don't see a major drop by the end of the month I'm gonna start stabbin' folks. I think my current regimen would be fine if I was MAINTAINING, but for losing I gotta be more strict or do more work. So wish me luck too biggrin
