whatever happened to sharon stone? i was watching that movie "Casino" last night since my brother
gave me a copy for my birthday and i was just stunned by that great great performance by Sharon Stone. it made me wonder what happened to her. i hardly ever see her on tv anymore or in films. last thing she did was a sequel to basic instinct right? and, iirc it was just horrible 
did she go on to star in some series in america perhaps and is that why we don't see her that much anymore in films? i know, she was a so-so actress for the most but that role in Casino is just brilliant. it's more than just acting, it's unreal. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |

I totally agree! Her performance in that movie was absolutely fantastic. It's as if she decided to let go of her usual persona for once and just let the character consume her.
However, my strongest memory of Sharon Stone is that scene at the beginning of Total Recall where she's in bed with Arnie. When she removed the shoulder straps on her outfit and smiled and delivered that line (it escapes me at the moment) it was - as JustErin would say - le sex. I was 13 or 14 at the time and had seen much more explicit things, but nothing that could compare with that. 
She's still le sex by the way. Probably she'll be like Jane Fonda and keep her sex appel even at 70+.  | |

She did a short cameo in a very popular Turkish TV series, Andy Garcia was also in it , and I think she succesfully fought against cancer not too long ago. If I recall correctly, she also went through a divorce.
I quite like her. Last time I´ve seen her was when she came over here with Richard Gere to host some charity event or auction or something like that. Mr.Gere played the piano and Mrs. Stone sang a few songs. She still looks great....though I´m not even really into blondes.Plus she´s a Pisces with a very high IQ....which of course increases the hottnesssss factor dramatically.
