Ode to a graduation.
purple robed people walk in a procession. walking without knowing that first gate of their future is opening. the procession sits in pantomime reflection. the glitter of cameras brings crimson to youthful cheeks. then he calls the name..they pluck the forbidden fruit known as the diploma. they all stand,turn the tassel to the left..hats ascend to the sky! the procession forms again,heading for the exit..they all dissapear like seeds off the dandylion. not sure if it is a ode..its a freeform..thought. | |
