How are you different from the time you were 19 and how old are you now?

Do people really change? Do they keep the same general ideas, values, morals. Do you think Money changes a person so much that sometimes they become another person and sometimes lose sight of who they once were? Do you believe that money can make one young again. Henceforth, Plastic Surgery? Or do you think age is something that is good like Experience? Is Age something we feel or are you as Old as you Feel? Do you still feel as Sexually Adventurous as you once did. I know this is long winded, but it's significant.

19 is sort of an odd age to compare it to. Methinks 18 would be more appropriate...

19 was a great year for me. I had loads of fun, held very strong views, was pretty much passionate about lots of issues and had a great body and a beautiful face! biggrin

I'm 36 now and, although I still think the same, I see the world differently, am more cynical, less judgemental, less likely to see things from only one perspective and have a body that's no longer firm and carries too many lbs. My face is no longer pretty, although I think it does have some charm. biggrin I have mornings where I look in the mirror and can't believe it's me.

I'm far happier now. I've realised what's important to me in life and focus my energies on these things and people. I'm not afraid to love and be loved, or to say what I really feel. I don't mind that I don't look 19 - I feel my "specialness" lies inside, with my personality and sense of humour and I have a good sense of morality. I try to live a life that's "honourable". I've learned, through my 20's, that most of the times I've felt bad about myself are when I've gone against what I believe to be right, or haven't known what to do.

In my 20's I thought I would have plastic surgery when I got older, now I never would. I really like the way I look now - my body's kinda "lived in" biggrin and my face shows (I hope) kindness. I'm less self-centred now. Sexually, I've got better as I've got older ... biggrin

I thought this was a great question btw ...

when I was 19 I didn't apply myself at all in college, and dropped out/was kicked out by 21. It's not that I wanted to fail - I just didn't really know how much harder it would be to pick up again later when I was ready, so I thought I'd take "a semester off" (even I had to laugh at the time)

now I'm almost 31 (shit!) and am facing a much bigger challenge of getting a degree while handling 2 kids, a full-time job, a house, etc etc.

I would've done it differently had I really understood. stay in school kids, and don't leave without that piece of paper. have fun, but carefully consider your future

I'm sure this is is important 2 u natasha, so i shall answer THIS one; i go with prince's way of thought on age and birthdays... i dont count them. it's how u feel and look and care 4 urself and think about things and life, and care 4 others, doing as much good as one can for urself AND others, wanting 2 always learn something new and better ones self. realizing that we NEED others in our life to love, care 4, and to do the same 4 us, being able 2 be relatively happy alone with ones self and thoughts, and generally doing with our lives what makes US happy with ourselves, and not so much as what OTHERS think IS BEST 4 US! living as healthy a lifestyle both physically and mentally is absolutely detrimental to our well-beings, and one we must choose that is BEST suited 4 each one of us as individuals, and that will make US happy inside. if one is not happy with their chosen path in life, u can always change it. it's NEVER TOO LATE! the path i have chosen 4 myself, as an example will keep me feeling vibrant, happy and always young, although i have trouble with staying on that path sometimes, (as xpected) i have always and will always feel and act like i'm 19. especially with RECENT events happening in my life. we r as old as we feel (AND LOOK I GUESS). so it's important to take care of ourselves always, and letting love in our lives too, and not closing ppl out, that will keep one young and beautiful, imo.
May the BELLS ring 4 U even when ur not in love. hug kisses
