With the exception of the Pythons and certain occasional individuals (Peter Sellers, for example), I'd say Americans have a more readily accessible humor. It's fleshy, low-brow, almost more juvenile or primitive. Brits, on the other hand, seem too often to rely on a refined wit, which demands a certain cultural literacy. That's perfectly fine, but sometimes it gets pretentious and requires work I ain't particularly wanting to invest. I don't always want to think before I let loose in fits of stupid laughter.

By the way... is it me, or does anyone else think John Cleese and Graham Chapman were kinda hot when they were younger? :box:

I kinda know what you mean. "Blackadder" thinks its clever to a point maybe, as do the pythons in a very public school tish tosh kinda way. Certainly "black adder" is not hard to understand. When I watch it, its mainly rather repetitive jokes with Blackadder comparing Baldrick to some fictional piece of the time. I.e "Baldrick, ur as dumb and darcy the dumbwitted deaf dumb and blind dancer from dorset" or whatever. Yawn for the most part.

I will mention that I like watching that show Are You Being Served and Keeping Up With Appearances.
I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

Too many "family" sitcoms where some ugly dude has a hot wife and a couple of teenage kids. WTF kinda formula for good comedy is that?
