Ya know what'll happen, right? Everyone will get to like it, and then they'll stop producing it and only send it to select markets where you'll no longer be able to get it.

Okay, maybe not. razz

As with all other products when big money is involved there is a disagreement in the scientific community about exactly how bad aspartame really is. Most agree that it has many negative health effects while a few claim it's not dangerous at all. This is pretty much a complete list of diseases and ailments that through different studies have been connected with aspartame:

pain in one or both eyes
decreased tears
trouble with contact lenses
bulging eyes

Ear
tinnitus - ringing or buzzing sound
severe intolerance of noise
marked hearing impairment

Neurologic
epileptic seizures
headaches, migraines and (some severe)
dizziness, unsteadiness, both

Additional Symptoms of Aspartame Toxicity include the most critical symptoms of all

Yes, call the press, I am retracting my hate for Coke Zero.

I bought a 12 pack of the Cherry Coke Zero last week, and I'll be damned if it doesn't taste JUST LIKE normal Coca Cola.

I got a 12 pack of Vanilla Coke Zero (the packaging was just too cute - all cartoony fonts an' stuff giggle ) today, and we'll see how that goes.

But yeah...Coke Zero doesn't suck! I don't understand why they're still selling Diet Coke when this stuff tastes just like the sugary stuff! shrug

Any other Coke Zero converts out there?

I'm addicted to the cherry coke zero! Especially with Jack D drool

Oh we all do! I eat plenty of junk food and other crap, I just figured it's better to drink regular Coke with pretty much the same flavour and common sugar-effects as the main drawback than to even risk getting some of the crazy symptoms in the list above. Call it the much lesser of two evils if you will.

blecch, i don't like those. they put TOO MUCH flavor in and they're always sweet. i much prefer squeezing a drop of RealLemon or RealLime in a glass or bottle of cold water; THAT is yummy.
