I am so sad for Santa Barbara right now, I am a native santa barbaran and we have never gone through such a bad case of gang fights as we have in recent months, seriously...now a days you can't open the paper without hearing about a gangfight! Just ignore me...I just woke up and don't know what the heck I'm talking about:nutso: OH: President Bush is in Vatican City discussing global concerns with the Pope. Santa Barbara is expensive, not rich. We have extremely rich people who live here, but at the same time we have a ton of people who can not afford to live here. The prices here are overly inflated, it is the norm to drive 40 miles to go clothes shopping. Why do I live here? I was born here, every family member I have lives here and the weather is beyond beautiful...daily average is 75 degrees. Our motto is "another beautiful day, in crappy Santa Barbara" I live with views of the ocean on one side and the Santa Ynez mountains on another. | |
