Every mf time I plug in my iPod 2 the pc this shit moves all of my music.
I have them organized by artist and album and when I open iTunes it's all messed up and has no order
I want 2 stab the shit out my pc right now

It is the option in itunes to allow itunes to organize your music...go in to the options and uncheck the allow box....fixed

Don't do what I did a couple of days ago. Other family have been using my computer and it was constipated. I wanted to make a new playlist in itunes and couldn't access the thing. I took the darn hard drive, and keyboard and dropped it on the floor. I told my hubby I thought I was ready for a new computer and he wanted to wait until Vista works out the kinks(he hates his).
I put my computer back together but didn't know where the cables connected and needed him to help.....I had some xplainin to do....
It works fine, those xp's are durable! but my screen has rainbow colors, and I'm missing 2 buttons on the keyboard. They aren't buttons/tabs I use.

...and, IIRC, isn't the option to keep the library organized actually turned OFF by default when you install iTunes under Windows? It seems to me they ask you how you want it to behave when you first install it... or at least they did in previous versions.

Since I updated my Itunes, it sometimes puts songs in the wrong folders also, but not with any rhyme or reason.

Listen. You don't need to use an iPod with its shitty internal battery - nor do you need to use the iTunes software for anything other than buying music.

Just buy a Brand X mp3 player and drag & drop whatever you want to listen to.
