I just got back from getting my hair done..


IT LOOKS LIKE SHIT. UGH!
I am so mad. The woman made me look so stupid. I brought in a picture of how to get it cut like but she didn't even LOOK at the thing! she cut it all off! its SO short! and I hate it so bad! It looks similar to HERS. She did NOTHING like I wanted! She'd pause and ask me a question about something and whatever I said she'd do the opposite!


Have you ever had something go wrong to due someones Incompetence or stupidy or will to do whatever they want?

this is literally the worst haircut of my life!

I would have asked her to stop and question what she was doing also I would refuse 2 pay.
If u dont like do u think it could be re-styled

and no it can't be restyled because its so short. and there's no way im going any shorter i already hate it this short. Sort hair looks terrible on my facial features.

A good hairdresser can re-style with not cutting much away. You could treat urself 2 hair extensions then no more short hair.

Thats funny you say you have better luck with men doing your nails, I always hear that with hair stylists too but I have yet to have a man do my hair, maybe thats who I should try next. Ive never had luck with women doing my hair either

Call the manager and complain, or better yet have your parent do it. And next time you go in ANY WHERE with a picture and explain how you want your hair cut and they DON'T listen, WALK out. You are PAYING them to cut your hair. If the act the slightest bit uninterested in what you are explaining then LEAVE.

Ummmm...just out of curiosity...how did you pick this stylist?

I would never allow anyone to cut my hair unless he or she came with a glowing recommendation from someone I knew and trusted, whose hair (cut by the stylist in question) looked fabulous.

Hair is too important to be left to chance.

So, no -- I've never had a disastrous haircut. In addition to checking out a stylist ahead of time, I am also very specific about what I want done.

When I comes to my hair, I do not play.

there's one person i trust with my hair, she works at Great clips and man i walk in, and she knows exactly what to do. she kicks ass,

I hear you loud and clear on this one. I once had a stylist who did the exact opposite I had told him to do. And yes he was a guy. he was professional and nice, but he couldn't style for shit. I always came out of the shop ashamed and went straight home to style my own hair how i wanted it (he was cheap too, so i guess you get what you pay for).

I left him and went to another guy to do my hair and he did everything right. In fact i didn't have to tell him to do much because I just let him do what he wanted and it always came out looking great. But on the flip side, he was unprofessional. Sometimes he was late, when i would show up he would sit around watching tv for 20 or 30 minutes before starting on my hair if i was his only customer for the morning (and yes i would ask him if he was ready or something because i had things to do and didn't want to be in a hair salon all day). He also liked to gossip about his clients behind their backs too and sometimes while they were in the next room under the dryer!!!

So now one my friends told me about another guy who is a stylist and I went to him last week. He does okay hair, but when he was done i looked like i had a wig on my head. I looked my mother. I'm going to get a perm and ask him to cut it and see how he styles it then. If i still don't like it then i'm going to make a visit to a hair cuttery and call it a day.

Professional hairstylists are very very very hard to find. Once you find one who is professional they can't style for shit. If they can style the hell out of your hair, they are unprofessional and you end up having to choose whether or not you want to put up with their bullshit or find somebody else.

Now when it comes to nails, i either do them myself (i have a professional nail technician license and use to do nails when i was in high school) or I go to the nail salon where i use to work at and get them done.

I get my eye brows done now and then at another salon, but at $20 dollars, for now i'm just getting the tweezers out myself to get the job done.

I just recently found a salon that does the "french manicure" look (you know white on the tips) on the toes....correctly and neat. So they have won me over and I will be going to them from now on for pedicures.

It's a shame how i have to travel all around to different salons to get different services done. But as a woman, you have to what you have to do to get the services you want.
