I'm a Pine Sol freak, so knowing that my bathroom will smell like Pine Sol motivates me to clean.

I like cleaning my own home in general. It has to be at a certain level of clean for me. Plus, it's another way for me to burn energy since I can't work in the yard any more (allergies).

I quite like washing dishes unless I have to touch food. I despise ironing.

I bought Martha Stewart's housekeeping book last year, because I like having a clean home and am paranoid about the earth turning into a steaming hot landfill. She's all about environmental responsibility (and keeping her help scared shitless and in check), so all her cleaning techniques use biodegradable products.

My first ever job was a dishwasher and I really hate doing dishes these days but at the time I found I really enjoyed drying the silverware, cause you had to do it by hand and be quite meticulous about it to avoid any spots and I'd get in an almost meditative state. I enjoyed that. My friend Kym and I shared the job and once in a while we'd discuss out "siverware thoughts".

I like to throw on the iPod and cut the grass....relaxing for me.

When it comes to domestic work I'd say anything that doesn't require any form of precision work. For example I hate ironing, washing dishes and mending clothes while I don't mind taking out the trash, vacuuming or mowing the lawn.

I have to wash and iron an assload of huge tablecloths for a reception this week. Weddings

I did mine earlier today. I don't mind doing my clothes. I do mind using laundromats though. When I was a kid, I was in the laundromat with my mom, and this little boy threw up in there and ever since I've associated laundromats with nastiness. I go in there to do tablecloths and cloth napkins for events since they have massive washers/dryers, but other than that I avoid them. I go in there with my hand sanitizer and people look at me like I'm crazy.
