Where are you retiring to? I myself have no need to be in the states as you all know and I have a friend in the caribbean that has issued an invitation to come to Statia an island near St. Maarten, well that whole cluster of islands.
I also have a friend who is developing property in Costa Rica....I crave the simple exotic tropical life where I can smoke my walk around in shorts or a sarong and flip flops communing with good spirited peaceful people and eating fresh and bountiful food! I have never thought of this as I am only 22, but Dominican Republic would definitely be one of the places I would choose. My family is from there, I love the food, the music, the beaches, and everything else.

Those islands are so beautiful, but they must cost a lot of money to buy! I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

Ditto. Workin' till I die. Someplace by the ocean would be nice, though. But not too far from a city. Or mountains, or forests. Who the hell am I kidding, I'd probably retire somewhere within a 2 mile radius of where I live right now. I suck. oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!

I've always said no matter where I go I'll always end up back in Mpls, but I can see the winters finally getting the better of me and not wanting to deal anymore. But I don't know I've figured out a back up plan yet. |
