I like all those things too but I don't need my man to also be into it. I can do those things on my own or with friends that also enjoy it. True but its nice to be able to share the things you love doing with that special person in your life. Rhythm floods my heart♥The melody it feeds my soul

Yup - that's another one. JustErin said: Paradisekiss03 said: For me if a guy is hating on going to museums and reading about geology and science for fun then he is not interesting to me. I don't expect my mates or anyone I'm dating to like the same things as me - they never do, anyway I half expect it - but it's when people are completely dismissive towards someone else's interests that I get pissed off. There's piss-taking (which is perfectly natural) and then there's ignorance. Sometimes I'd rather keep my passions to myself if it means I have to don't have to go through the rigmarole of explaining them. I feel like I'm cheapening them, almost. It feels like someone calling your new-born baby ugly.

omg, that's my favorite favorite favorite!! I have whole rituals designed around it. I swear, I was born in thr wrong era. Oh to live in the days (and to have the wealth) to need 3 people to help you get dressed. I nearly faint when they show those scenes in period pieces. I don't know why it's such a fantasy of mine, but it is. |

Hanging out in music stores and big ass bookstores for hours.
Foreign films Comic book stores (Yes, I'm a geek.) Going to a batting cage Having a "Twin Peaks" marathon Documentaries on anything (Anx, I'm with ya, partner) Weird food (if a woman turns her nose up to at least trying sea urchin, she doesn't get a second date).

Weekends when I have nothing to do
Reading Silence Spending time with my dog Writing Being by myself Yoga I have a long list, but this is just a few. My ex-husband told me once I was "f*cking boring"...there is a modicum of truth to that statement! "Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive."

All I know is the difference I feel between going out not looking how I'd like and going out looking exactly how I'd like. NO-ONE else ever notices the difference, but I do. It's not a vanity thing, it's a self-confidence thing.

TOTALLY essential. My housemates *never* understand it but it puts that little, you know, spring in my step. I would much rather leave others to their own devices and meet them out later if that means going out when I feel 'ready'. And that's what usually happens. My mates are just used to it.
