BREAKING NEWS

Updated: 2 minutes ago
For medical reasons, Paris Hilton will serve her sentence at home, according to a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

After serving just three days behind bars, Hilton was "reassigned" to home detention and was sent home with a electronic-monitoring device. In conjunction with her home detention, Hilton's sentence was re-set at 45 days.

The reality TV star and heiress was originally sentenced to 45 days for violating the terms of her probation following a DUI arrest. The judge cut her sentence to 23 days. Hilton checked into the facility Sunday night to begin serving a more than three-week sentence for violating probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case. mad

I am really pissed off about this. Different set of rules for the rich, for law enforcement and my politicians. When the fuck are people going to really get angry enough to do something about this?

The pathetic American public is useless and do nothing when they have all the power to change everything including cable TV rates, cell phone rates, etc.

It's like the word BOYCOTT never existed.

There goes her street cred. Getting sprung like this is the worst thing that could happen to her, reputation-wise.

This may erase Paris Hilton from the pop culture scene. Pray that it is so.

This is not really even about her. It's about how there really is no justice in this country.

If you think this could happen only in the US then you're wrong.
It's all over the world.
Just talking won't change anything.

Oh, I agree.

I am just saying that people here often do not serve their time after being sentenced as well.

Paris Hilton has been fitted for ankle bracelet and reassigned to house arrest, after authorities decided to release Hilton from prison due to medical reasons, this according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept. spokesperson, Steve Whitmore.

Whitmore says he cannot release details about Paris' medical issue due to confidentiality.

I bet she stopped eating all together (no biggie for her anorectic ass) and got so sick that the authorities had to give in, under the threat of a very expensive lawsuit by the Hiltons.
