ok so uhm, *cough*

currently i'm dating a 22 yr old. i'm 28 myself. so that's a 6 yr gap.
especially at this age i think it's pretty big.

but then i started thinking and realised that i've always dated people
who were about 6-9 yrs older than me and it usually went pretty well.

i guess if the younger one is a bit more serious than the average and
the older one can still unwind and have some cool fun it should all be
ok.

but this got me wondering what kind of age gaps, if any, there are in
your relationship.

fcuz, you can also relate funny or disgruntled stories at your will

My ex was 9 years older than me but 20 years younger as far as maturity

My parents had a big age difference, 20 years, they are divorced now

My ex was 5 years older than me and it DID make a difference at the time we were dating. She was in her late 20s/early 30s and had already done her party girl phase. Meanwhile, I still wanted to go out clubbing and the like.

So it's not really age that matters, so much as where you're at in your life. My mom's 60, but her husband's 73, yet they're totally happy because they're both at peace with where they're at in their respective lives.

My parents were 23 years apart and I don't think it made a difference in their marriage what so ever. They were happily married for the most part.

i don't know i just always thought that 25 was like a legal limit, lol. a
friend of mine who's 26 is dating an 18 yr old and his best mate was kinda
interested in me. he was barely friggin 18

At this stage of the game I couldn't imagine dating a 22 year old, yet I'd probably happily date a 42 year old. (I'm almost 32. ) But then, never say never I guess.

I'm 15. and I usually date between 16 and 18.

I dont know why that's just how it ends up lol.

I dont think I could possibly date any younger then me or and older then 18

6 & 1/2 yrs and 1 day ... so and so many hours and minutes


I have always dated men 3-15 yrs older then myself

4 years right now, no problem at all.




I had a casual relationship with an 18 year old about a year ago, we had nothing in common.

My boyfriend is 9 years younger than me and we've been together for nearly 7 years. He was barely legal then.
There are some compromises you have to make, but for the most part age itself doesn't matter. We just don't talk about history or anything too deep too often. I have friends my age for that.
