I don't know, I just know that ulcers are painful as hell .....hope blisters aren't serious.

I would deffinately take out the contacts so you don't damage those or your eyes. Plus if it is some kind of infection, you don't want that on your contacts. Clean and soke them well.

I hope it goes away before you have to have it lanced!!
