Long as you all get along(and it's legal), age isn't a big deal. The youngest woman I dated was nearly half my age(in her early 20s). We got along fine while it lasted. If she didn't mention the M-word, we'd still be together now.

I've recently caught myself checking out the little highschool boys at the court.

It means you're human. Ain't nuthin' wrong with an older woman wanting the young, good stuff. Believe me, keep yourself together, and you'll have to fight them off with a stick. I see it with female friends of mine 40+.

I think those boys are lucky! I know it's wrong but I think there's a double standard. Girls who sleep w/teachers get hurt, boys who do just get lucky.

our bodies don't know the difference between 17 and 18. Nothing wrong with finding underage teens attractive, it's only wrong to act on it.

nod I consider it a vocational perk. innocent

Actually, the girls are pretty attractive too. It's all that sexual energy flying around. innocent I often think about how, as adolescents, they don't have the strongest self image...and how ironic from this vantage point in which I stand...they are GORGEOUS!!!

but you're right, it's a line a teacher should never never cross.

I just don't think it would scar a boy like it would a girl. A boy would probably feel lucky (except maybe that boy who had a kid with his teacher).

I think in high school kids don't know how hot they are because of the sheer number of hot teens surrounding them.

In high school I felt completely invisible because there were always 1000 cooler guys than me. Now I work with all women, mostly older than me, and I've never felt so attractive.

Are you serious? Of course! I was a mass of surging hormones at 16. I had a high school spanish teacher who was a combination of Jessica Alba & Salma Hayek...OMFG. I wanted her to seduce me like Mrs. Robinson. Unlike these knucklehead boys today, I would have kept my mouth shut and enjoyed it.

As NDRU said, it's different with girls. A male teacher seducing a teenage girl is statuatory rape. A woman seducing a teenage boy is nirvana.

ok so uhm, *cough*

currently i'm dating a 22 yr old. i'm 28 myself. so that's a 6 yr gap.
especially at this age i think it's pretty big.

but then i started thinking and realised that i've always dated people
who were about 6-9 yrs older than me and it usually went pretty well.

i guess if the younger one is a bit more serious than the average and
the older one can still unwind and have some cool fun it should all be
ok.

but this got me wondering what kind of age gaps, if any, there are in
your relationship.

fcuz, you can also relate funny or disgruntled stories at your will mr.green

Ain't nothing wrong persé with an age gap. It can make things more difficult tho'. I have been in relationships with women much older and much younger than me. It was not a different level of maturity that caused the break up. When the gap is big, you tend to be in different phases of your lives. There comes a day then, that the two don't go hand in hand anymore.
