I would freak out if, like, a beetle wandered by while I was naked. I don't know why it's worse than when clothed, but it is.
Or if you install the bathtub and some June bugs or mosquitos decided to come hang out. That would be awful.
Do you get a lot of bugs at night?

yes there are bugs though they are attracted to the tourches when/if they come by and those are placed far enough away

I have never been bothered by bugs in the shower, I guess the running water would keep them away if they came close anyway

we will have to see how the tub goes

I wouldn't worry about that in a shower, but I'd share that concern in a bathtub. I'd keep a little fish tank scoop thing on hand to scoop bugs out of the tub.
