I would hate it if someone dated my ex, but I think it would depend on the length of time between us splitting and them getting together. Maybe a year or so later would be ok, but anything less than six months would feel too much like hotbunking no no no!

I couldn't go out with a friend's ex. The thought of their donger relentlessly slamming into said ex would put me off a bit

i once drunk boffed a guy that was interested in my roommate.

she said she wasn't interested but i still felt bad for what i did.
who knows? she might have been interested. in any case a guy that
will take home the drunk roommate of a girl he's been hitting on
wasn't worth keeping around. ahhh university days confused

dating in a small town though...
everyone gets with somebody's ex eventually - it's inevitable!

I once asked an ex if it was OK if I asked her best friend out for coffee. Perhaps one of the stupidest questions I've ever asked in my life (aside from the time I asked the same ex if she "was frigid.") Bad, bad, bad idea.

I had a best friend start dating someone I had previously dated on and off I and was trying to get back together with her at the time. After that, I don't think we were ever friends again. I felt like he had stabbed me in the back. confused

Unless you're dating a virgin, you're always going to be following somebody.

I only have the no dating rule when it concerns someone that dated a family member. Because then to date that person would be kinda like incest.
