Recommend some good but cheap moisturizer.

About a year ago I was at Old Navy and they had these one ounce moisturizers for men and I bought a few of them. 2 of the White Chocolate+Orange and 2 of the Lavender+Sandalwood. Well I ran out so I went back to Old Navy and they didn't have them any more becuase they were a promotional item mad

So I started looking around the mall for moisturizer and there were 3 stores that had them. The cheapest moisturizer I found was $30 dollars for 2 ounces and up to $60 for 4 ounces. I didnt' like the scent of any of them and there is no way I'm spending $60 bucks on moisturizer. I spent 4 bucks on the Old Navy moisturizers and my face looks wonderful after putting it on.

I have gone to the supermarket and don't really like the scent of many of the lotions. I'm not looking for girly scents, either so that's a big problem when looking.

Can someone else help me to find good moisturizer that I don't have to pay an arm and a leg for?! lol

hmmm

I did check out some lotions and creams but I think the scent is too overpowering. Does it fade or is it strong like all day?

falloff No! It doesn't have a very strong scent.

I have a question though. Are talking facial moisturizer or one for the whole body. This one is a facial moisturizer.

Ok, is this an overnight cream like a facemask or is this something I can put on after I wash my face? I'm really starting to care about damn wrinkles lol

Honestly, when I went looking either the price or the scent put me off as well.

I ended up just going for an organic moisturizing soap. There's a local vendor that makes and sells a variety I like especially well made from olive oil, aloe and sage. It smells like an Italian kitchen when you're using it, which always makes me hungry lol but just leaves a very gentle, neutral scent when you're done.

Failing that, Emm's suggestion of Neutrogena is spot on, as well. Inexpensive and with an appealingly mild, at least to me, scent.

It's great! We kept some free gifts - warm face masks, a nice, big L'Oreal bag, about 4 or 5 shower gels, loads of shampoo, hand creams, body lotions and gave quite a bit to friends. It's all crammed in our fridge (goes funny outside in the heat). lol

No, about 16.75 GBP, but since you're in the US, you can get 'Restore and Renew' - the exact same product but relabeled in the US owing to copyright issues (Johnson & Johnson has a 'protect & perfect' product, I believe). Should be around $20 from Target, if they still have stock. It's great stuff! nod

Ok, I did buy a bottle of Johnson's Softlotion at the supermarket. It's the "Extra Care Healing Lotion". It's pretty mildly scented and it definitely softens my face but boy is there a shine later on. It has a touch of baby oil. Too much a touch apparently. I took a picture the other day and my whole forehead was glowing falloff

Next! lol
