The temp is starting to slide past 120 on a daily basis....since I'm back in Baghdad, the sounds of war are closer now....small arms fire and random explosions are the norm....not nearly as dangerous as it is out on the streets, for sure...but thats what makes is such a mind-screw for us combat-support types....if its my time, I'll never see it coming....

..I try to have small weekend get-a-ways with my husband without cellphones, schedules or anything else that we deal with on a daily basis., as for how often, I can tell you it's not nearly as much as I would like, so I really cherish the times that we do get to spend being "just us"

lOVE THEM..I wish we could get some sort of storm, rain anything. I sleep really well when it rains at night. We haven't had a drop of rain in 3 weeks now and it stinks!
