What's with all the movie sequels? Why are a lot of movies getting sequels? Harry Potter, POTC, Shrek, etc etc. I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

I am sad to report I have spent my hard earned money watching 3 so far. Spiderman 3, Shrek 3, and just this weekend- Pirates of the Carribean 3.
I want my money back!!!! Not worth it. | |

Because Hollywood is overrun with unimaginative studio executives whose knuckles are permanently blanched white from wringing out the very last dollar possible from even moderately successful ideas and because, generally speaking, the moviegoing public continues to willingly hand over the cash to watch cinematic rehashes and regurgitations, predictable plotlines and superfluous special effects. | |

I saw Spiderman 3 and every preview was for a sequel, and most were the third.
