Your favorite kind of sandwich

I was just thinking that Sandwiches are the best food invention, you can take them anywhere and put all kinds of good things between two slices of bread, today my favorite is Egg salad with lettuce and tomatoe! What's yours? biggrin

Smoked turkey, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, mustard, mayo, salt and pepper. You can also add onions or green olives.

Oh lawd, this Au Bon Pain place has just started doing delivery here. How do these sound?

smoked chicken, bacon, melted cheddar cheese, tomatoes, cos lettuce, bearnaise sauce, toasted multigrain slices

They may as well assign one delivery boy just to me 'cause I'm gonna be ringing their asses day and night lol

lol I think you'd have to give the delivery boy a little more than the 20 baht we have to for being just outside of their delivery range.

I just this minute got McD's delivered. Not as nice, but it's alright.

Yeah, been doing it a few years now. Burger King don't deliver though, but most of the restaurants are doing it now so there's a fair bit of choice if you're feeling lazy.

Why not as nice ? Are they different in Bangkok ? Different taste ? Last time I was there they had some weird rice bun hamburgers, like a hamburger but without the usual bun. I didn´t eat there ( I mean , I usually try McDonalds in every country I go to just to see if there is anything different) but there was so much great Thai food that I didn´t go there.

So . why do you say not as nice ? I´m curious...

Oh, I mean not as nice as the sandwiches from Au Bon Pain I was talking about earlier. As far as compared to the UK or USA, McDonalds here tastes just the same. They don't qtr pounders with cheese though. shrug

Oh, the rice bun burgers. They look so dry and unappealing. lol I've never tried the samurai pork burgers or anything like that, I must admit.

I love French Beef Deep Sandwiches from either Phillipes or my dads resturaunt. A close second would be a hot pastrami sandwich from the Hat!
