Because a lot of them don't necessarily measure homophobia. Take "I tease and make jokes about gay people" for example. I tease and make jokes about all kinds of groups of people including my own. That doesn't mean I'm afraid of them. Or take "Organizations which promote gay rights are not necessary". i dont enjoy spending time with someone JUST because theyre gay
i judge how much i like spending time with them on their personality.
some gay people i love spending time with
others not so much
but its not because theyre gay

Ok, so what is the right answer for this question? It just so happens that I've fallen for many a (closeted) gay man. The relationships were always rocky, ended badly, but all was forgiven when they came out later on. Am I homophobic for agreeing with this statement? Or am I non-homophobic because I LOVE gay men?
