I'm sitting on the computer, looking up porn and I hear a little sound in my closet. I listen, hear it again. A little scratch, then another. I'm thinking, "What's Lewis (my cat) doing in the closet?".

I open the door and a frigin' massive (ok, not really) bat flies out at my face (ok, not really at my face).



I just spent 45 minutes trying to convince it to fly out the window. I went to call my friend to come over and be a man and get it out for me, but while I was getting my phone the thing disappeared.

Maybe it flew out the window when I left the room, maybe not...I just can't find it now.

Now I feel weirded out and can't sleep.

I used to work at a wildlife centre rehabing these punks, and yet I was still freaked out when it was flying around.

I just wish I had actually seen it fly out the window.

bats are really cool. i know how you feel though. i had one flying around my place once, freaking out my birdies. fortunately, i had a net and was able to catch and release it outside.

something similar happened to me...but it wasn't a bat...it's sad going to sleep and not sure if it flew out the window...since it might get ya while your sleeping.
