I think Quiznos and Subway are both ickybad (granted, it has been a long time since I had either). If Quiznos is still the only one that toasts the bread, that would probably be a tiebreaker for me between Nasty and Gross.

I am so, so, so sosososososo SO happy to live someplace where I don't have to eat at stupid barfy chain restaurants.

Which brings me to my question:

You live in Chicago. Why the hell are you eating at Quiznos OR Subway?

i agree with you on chili's - i went there a few months ago and i swear, we were not able to find ONE ITEM on their menu that did not have meat in it. even the sides! they had "macaroni & cheese....& HAM!" i asked if there was ANYthing on the menu a vegetarian could eat and the server was like, "well, we could leave the meat topping off an order of fries..." GAH!

and coldstone creamery is gross and cultlike. the employees creep me out and the ice cream is BLAND. it's like frozen play-doh which is why they have to load it up with tons of candy and crap. i HATE that place.

dennys i can deal with in a pinch. it's hard to mess up a cheese omelette. they haven't let me down yet.

and i like some chipotle.

All the food at Sheetz gas stations is nasty. Though I LOVE the touch screen ordering systems.

McDonalds salads frighten me. The lettuce and other vegetables just look strangely artificial for some reason. I'm convinced they've done SOMETHING to them to make them unhealthy - just haven't figured it out yet.

Chipotle is good, but I don't care for their salsa or the runny watered down sour cream they use. That rice is really good though that they put in their fajitas/burritos.

That happened to a friend and I once at Denny's. They made us wait who knows how long for our food, and when it finally came out, the server did not even apologize for making us wait so long. I will never go into a Denny's again because of that incident.
