A quick note to whoever's in charge of deciding who wins this thread:
My pic was taken a few days ago,
so even though it's probably not as hot as when the photo was first taken,
I should mention that the rubber in the tires is still burning.

So.....y'know....

do with that what you will.

(& good luck to everyone who posted on here. They are all fine entries. thumbs up! )

confused And why did u burn ur car? U know there r betta ways 2 get rid of it?

otherwise where is the fun in it..

Yes, but IF you can't drive your own sports car, wouldn't you hire a driver?
(this was a joke, originally)

no if i couldn't drive my own car, then i wouldn't invest in a sports car.

that would be pointless.

It seems to me that the American 6.35csi models had much bigger bumpers too.
Not just Beemers but German cars in general always had bigger bumpers in American TV shows, like for instance Rick´s Mercedes in Magnum P.I

yes, volvo, mercedes and bmw adapted their cars to fit in to the American market.

the european model 635 csi was faster, better build quality and prettier and is more desirable for collectors. i cant believe you sold it, it is very collectable.

i insure my 323i baur on classic car insurance, it costs me £100 a year for full comprehensive insurance. which is nothing, but yes petrol consumption is expensive.

which is why i only drive it on the weekends, if it is not raining.

I drive a little black Toyota MR2 Roadster, which they don't make any more sad ... it's my second, same colour, same spec. I'd buy a third if they still made them.

I´m not really into Japanese cars but I love the look of the Toyota MR2, especially the older models.

You must be very happy with it if you´ve bought the same car twice. What is it that you like so much about it ? Why did you buy another one ? Is it the looks, or something else ? And why don´t you just buy a second hand MR2 ?
Would you recommend that car ? Does it use a lot of fuel ? I seriously consider buying one in the near future just for the look.

The fleet right now:

The Escort is my daily driver, and the Jaguar is about to be put on the road for Summer. It has the v12 engine I might be able to put gas in it once a mont

The kids have a 1991 galant, and a 1992 caprice in the driveway also

And there are a few motorcycles in various states of repair

Nice ! Thanks. I like older cars much , much more than the new versions...IMO, a car either has to be very classic or futuristic looking, that is sexy. Most new cars just look round, fat and like plastic, with too much sensitive electronic bullshit that doesn´t last very long and causes many problems.
Insurance, tax, and fuel for those cars you have would ruin me over here...I guess it´s a bit cheaper to own such cars in the UK .
They´re cheaper here, if you´re lucky, but maintenance is very costly ( tax, insurance, fuel prices).
