You obviously cannot see that this is a matter of tolerance levels rather than opinions. A lot of things don't make sense in Lost but most of it is related to the plot and its mystery and can therefore be tolerable. I, however, don't find it as tolerable if they're going to mess up the logic of the narrative structure too.

No, it is just about opinions and you seem to have a real problem accepting those differing from your own. Sorry, but that's the reality of it. Just because it doesn't make sense to you, does NOT mean it doesn't make perfect sense and work for others.

And you're the one resorting to personal attacks, so who's the infantile one here?... rolleyes

Excuse me, if you feel you have the right to speak for others in a discussion about their tolerance levels and what does or doesn't make sense to them then that's unbridled arrogance on your part. I don't need you to speak for me, ESPECIALLY given you are so far off base that it's laughable. I understand your issue with the episode I just completely disagree. That does NOT mean I'm wrong. Discounting the equally valid opinion of people who don't agree with you as simply having lower standards or the inability to understand what "the problem" is comes across as... what was that word you used over and over? ..oh yeah, sloppy. ...and rude.

I missed the entire part of part 1, but just couldn't bring myself to wait and dowload it off iTunes, so I saw it from the second hour on falloff

Shame too, because I can see where some of the scenes would have been very tense in part one lol

It was a far better season finale than season 2 IMO. And yes--why did they have to kill of such hot snatch?

ok, good episodes, the flash-forward was interesting, the meeting with Kate a bit eerie....

question: why didn't Charlie just swim out of the window after Mikhail's grenade blasted it???

I was wondering that, too. He had time, although he might've thought that guy would blow it up at any second and didn't wanna risk desmond dying. Still, it seemed like a dumb decision.

Yeah. I thought the same thing. But that equipment should all still work. Didn't the one chic say that it would all still work if the station was flooded?

Come on - Its Life On Mars

They are in limbo on the island after the crash - those who die on the island dont actual die, they revive in the real world.

People coming on to the island are the contacts from the outside/real world trying to make them snap out of it/revive them.

Ben and the others want them to stay.

I think Jack and Kate are revived but there real life is so crap that they want to go back anyway possible.

Thats why Jacks dad is still alive, thats why the airline has compensated them.

Who's in teh coffin...Ben!!! Jack said he was neither a friend or family and Kate asked why Jack thought she would be at teh funeral....if it was Sawyer she would have been

I still cant see where yall are getting BEN in the coffin from. When Jack read the article, he began to weep. Would he be weeping over Ben? Let alone, attempt suicide?

Maybe, if Ben was his only way back to the island.
Besides, if Ben was being honest, then he could end up being the good guy, the protector of the island. Alot could happen between then and now.

Yeah tehy denied Purgatory (although that could be partly because they were rumbled staright away) but Im talking about bewteen life and death as opposed to Heaven & Hell.

Like hearing voices in a coma....

Basically I reckon its Life on Mars!!!

For those who dont know taht an Englissh Policeman in the 21st century gets run over and wakes up in the 1970's.

Is he really there, is he mad or is he in a coma is the big selling point of the whole series. Peopel he meets in teh 70 try to tell him certain things about his situation

SPOILER!!!!!

Turns out he is in a coma and teh peopel who have been trying to warn him are doctors etc in the hospital where he i in teh coma. In teh end he decides that there is noting for him in th real world so makes a consious effort to saty in teh coma with his 70's friends and love.

Could be that Jack & Kate decided to wake up

I just read that there is podcast in which the producers of Lost talk about the show. Does anyone know how to get it? Is it on some offical site?

Ok, here's my theory. The Island is a kind of alter-reality, a physical Nirvana where reality is completely atuned to Nature. Nature on the Island, is "aware" and (for lack of a better word) personified. I think the definition of the word "Dharma" as in the D.H.A.R.M.A. Project is the key. It's a Bhudist and Hindu concept that describes a person's existence being completely aligned with the natural realm. Kind of the unseen, spiritual realm of living things as opposed to a spirit realm of the dead. "Jacob" I think, is the Island itself.
Jacob's "Help Me" to Locke may not have been "Save me from the Others", but "Protect me from the outsiders (such as the Dharma Initiative and Naomi's friends) who are trying to tap into and exploit the island."
Magnetism is what holds all of physicality together, on both an atomic and planetary level, so that's why there's that enormous magnetic energy that had to be kept in check once they had learned how to access it.
The Others are the good guys, which is why they haven't aged (Richard).

I dunno. Just a theory. shrug
