Did anyone see the series finale tonight? What the hell was THAT?!?

Man, they really lost the plot this season. Literally!

Though I did like the way Jack yelled "SHYAAADAP!" near the end of the episode.

Other than that: TRASH!!! TRASH!!! TRASH!!!

I'm watching Heroes next season instead of this crap. Wotta waste of time.

I've watched all seasons and stop watching into about the 3rd or 4th episode this season..

cant win'em all.

i thought they'd pull some big shocker out of their hat to reward us for sitting through all that crap (i made it through to the last three or so episodes, then i couldn't stand it anymore), but no. i think they had one lame excuse for a "shocker", but it was a stupid predictable plot twist that had nothing to do with anything interesting.

I've loved the last few seasons of this show, but this season sucked monkey balls. The last 10 minutes got so melodramatic that I had to change the channel to watch the Heroes finale. It was far more entertaining in the last five minutes than the last two hours of 24 ever could have been. I just wished I had a TiVo so I could have taped the episodes of Heroes that I missed. Well, I don't have Sci-Fi channel on my basic cable anymore, so I'll either have to catch the reruns or wait for the DVD set.

I agree. I could not force myself to watch through one entire hour this season. I would turn it on and it was just background noise- it just did not interest me.

I did walk in the room 5 mins before the very end last night.

I hope "Heroes" comes out on dvd in time for me to catch up before next season.

"Lost" was ok this season. But no new episodes until January. I've always been bored by lost, but I guess because it's on Wednesday and I never have anything going on I've been able to keep up with it. The recent "Jacob" episode freaked my shit, though.

And "Veronica Mars" is over.

I tried the first season of"24" but stopped when his wife fell out of a car and got amnesia.

Not reading this post....but I have them saved up to watch over the summer. I have appx 8 or so episodes to watch. I'm not even sure where I left off...something about a bomb and Gridenco...something.

I gave up on this season around episode #2. guess i made the right call.

Wait, what was the shocker? Chloe being pregnant? Other than that, the whole thing was completely predictable. This really was a terrible season, but at least the producers have admitted that they were all making it up as they went along, and that next season will be a complete reboot of the show. Still, I think I'll watch the Heroes DVD and catch up with that show in time for next year, storing 24 on my DVR and watching that only once I've read some positive "24 is BACK!" comments.

Hmm, I liked the ending. Could have done without the starring-at-the-ocean-scene but besides, Kiefer Sutherland is just too good of an actor. This seson as a whole surely wasn't nearly as good as some of the others were, but it still wasn't nearly as bad as you call it. And how could anyone stop during the first 4 episodes? Those absolutely rocked!

Yeah I am big fan of the show and was disappointed big time this season. The producers did say that the show was getting a total overhaul for next season.
This season was a big repeat of past seasons. Also, the first season finale with no cliffhangers!

I only asked because they aired at the same time, so one of the best shows on television went unwatched and got cancelled. Last night was the series finale.
