Champions League Final I have to go to sleep soon - 10:30pm here - but will be getting up at 1am ready for the big game - Liverpool vs. AC Milan.
So what do you think? Can Liverpool win it for the 2nd time in 3 years? Forget the league, that would be awesome, and would cement Rafa's position as an Anfield legend.

Speaking of which, surely it's the age of Milan we need to exploit. Maldini's what, 38? Seedorf must be 34 or so.

Right for Maldini but Seedorf is only 31. But it's obviously something to focus on. Milan's average age is way older than Liverpool. But i guess italians have still in mind the incredible 2005's final and i'm sure their plans for the game will be totally different today. I think they gonna play like they used to do in their championship ; some boring and closed football.

But what would you try to do differently to putting three goals past a side and not conceding any in the first half? I'm a bit nervous about the game actually. I watched us come back that night, but that first half still has me worrying. That comeback was a one-off and I fear the first half could happen again and we won't have the answer. I don't know why, as a Liverpool fan thinking about the last few years I still have this inferiority complex about the team when it comes to these big games against top teams. I feel the same when we play Man U, Chelsea or Arsenal in the league, but I shouldn't. Why is that? I want Liverpool to be genuine contenders in the league, but I'm just not confident like in times of old (i.e. the 80s). I still need to be convinced we've taken that last step to be on a par with these teams. Silly huh?

I am a Spurs fan as you know and i gotta say that game was the best game i have ever watched...even better than us against Ajax ...you could feel it...it was coming. Tonight the Reds need to control Kaka without a doubt...it was him that ripped Man U a new asshole. If the play as has been indicated with Gerrard central and dropped off a lone striker i think they can control midfield and that is the key. My money is still on the Reds!

I have more belief in the side than I did on that day and they won it, but games like that are rare. It was the middle of the night and Mon and I were sat on the edge of the bed, unable to breath, hearts pounding, crying at the end and just completely blown away by it all. I think they're better equipped to win it now, but could a Liverpool fan really, truly dare to believe we could win the big one again? I don't know if my nerves will take it. Shit, not long to go and I need to get some sleep in before it starts.
