Forgive my incredible ignorance, but what would it take for you to get a visa in the states next? Proof of employment? I don't qualify for a work visa, since I lack diplomas. I thought once about trying to get an Artist visa (sound engineers are considered artist by the immigration rules) but that requires newspapers with articles about me, and proof of my works. I don't have enough to qualify for that. Unfortunately, since I lack any kind of diploma, my only choice at this point is marrying someone local. But that's not easy either, and doesn't always end in a permit to stay. Not to mention it costs too much. I really hope my former boss will be able to help me. I believe he's probably my last good chance of aid. | |
