Everytime I try to copy for the kids as they have two homes... ( ) it fails... anyone got a good one for me?

I use the necessary combination of DVD Shrink and AnyDVD--they're both free, but the setup is a little tricky. If Borgie can't help you, please let me know, 'cause I can ask the guy who set me up if needed.

You need AnyDVD, definitely! I had someone else do the initial setup on mine, but after you set it once, the rest are automatic. Let me know if you need anything else! Either him or myself can get you a free copy.

I steal because I'm poor but do you really need to copy 'em? It sounds like it might be complicated.

Another way is to use DVD Decrypter to dump everything onto your PC and then use standard authoring software to make a copy.

Use DVD Decrypter to decrypt the DVD files onto your hard drive which is 15 mins work, depends on the speed of your DVD drive.

Use Nero Recode to recode those decrypted DVD files into another folder about 12 mins work

Then use Nero Burning rom for burning your new recoded DVD movie... 25 mins work

Yes it's a slow process, are u in a rush? do u have patience? do u have a second pc? anyway... it's worth it all for having a near perfect DVD copy.

and finally for someone who mentioned that AnyDVD is free.... it's free b/c u have an illegal copy, warez or a cracked copy

Most DVDs I've copied using this method are done - start to finish - in 20 minutes or less.

I use DVD NEXT Copy..this will rip and copy dang near any DVD out there.., only set back is it was round $100.00, but free versions of DVD shrink work good, but for the newer movies, it doesn't want to rip them as well..IMO

I have downloaded a free trial of Magic DVD Copier and its really good, but you only get 5 tries, and I have only one left, and I am not going to buy the software, so now I need to find a different free programme to use.
