From wikipedia:

Columbia is a census-designated place and planned community in Howard County, Maryland, United States. It is a suburb of Baltimore, and, to a lesser degree, Washington, DC. It began with the idea that a city could enhance its residents' quality of life. Creator and developer James W. Rouse saw the new community in terms of human values, not just in terms of economics and engineering. Opened in 1967, Columbia was designed to not only eliminate the inconveniences of then-current subdivision design, but also eliminate racial, religious, and income segregation.

Today, Columbia has a population of about 94,600 (making it the largest unincorporated community in Maryland). By the early 2000s, the town had inexorably acquired many of the characteristics of other contemporary U.S. suburbs, such as increasingly large private homes standing somewhat aloof on large parcels, and "big-box" retail stores accessible mostly by automobile. Rouse's ethos remains a strong influence upon the physical and political development of Columbia.

In my words
Always cloudy for some reason, safe, rude drivers, but very pretty.

Riverside is the county seat of Riverside County, California, United States and is also a focus city of the Greater Los Angeles Area. The city is named for the nearby Santa Ana River. As of 2006, Riverside had an estimated population of 305,255.[1] In 2005, Riverside was the largest city in the Inland Empire region, the 62nd-largest city in the United States, and part of the 13th-largest metropolitan area in the nation.Demographics

As of the census of 2005, there were:

* 294,059 people (305,255 per 2006 estimates)[1]
* 98,016 households, of which 93,405 were occupied
* 66,317 families residing in the city.

The racial makeup of the city was:

* 54.7% White
* 44.8% Hispanic or Latino of any race
* 26.0% from other races
* 7.3% African American
* 5.7% Asian
* 4.4% from two or more races.
* 1.0% Native American
* 0.9% Pacific Islander
.

The median income for a household in the city was $41,646, and the median income for a family was $47,254. Males had a median income of $36,920 versus $28,328 for females. The per capita income for the city was $17,882. About 11.7% of families and 15.8% of the population were below the poverty line, including 18.9% of those under age 18 and 8.0% of those age 65 or over.
Riverside is home to the University of California, Riverside. The UCR Botanic Gardens contains 40 acres (162,000 m²) of unusual plants, with four miles of walking trails. The city prides itself on its historic connection to the navel orange, which was introduced to North America from Brazil by the first settlers to Riverside in 1873. Riverside is home to the three surviving Parent Navel Orange Tree, from which all American West Coast navel orange trees are descended.

There are three hospitals in Riverside.[2]

* Riverside Community Hospital is a General Acute Care Hospital with Basic Emergency Services and a Level II Trauma Center as of 2006.
* Parkview Community Hospital Medical Center is a General Acute Care Hospital with Basic Emergency Services as of 2006.
* Kaiser Foundation Hospital - Riverside is a General Acute Care Hospital with Basic Emergency Services as of 2006.

Riverside is also home to the Riverside Public Library system. Branches include: Arlington, La Sierra, Marcy, Main, Eastside Cy-brary, and Casa Blanca.

[edit] Education
University of California, Riverside
University of California, Riverside

The city of Riverside is served by several institutions of higher learning:

* University of California, Riverside
* California Baptist University
* La Sierra University
* Riverside Community College

The Univ. of Cal. Riverside has its basketball teams play their games at the Student Recreation Center located on its campus. It does not have a football team. The CSD-R varsity football team, the Riverside Bears, had an undefeated season which led to an appearance on a May 2006 segment on ABC's 20/20 news series.Riverside is home of the historic Mission Inn, the Historic Riverside County Courthouse (based on the Petit Palais in Paris, France), and the Fox Theater (where the first showing of Gone with the Wind took place).

Also it is the home of the "World's Largest Paper Cup" which is over three stories (68.10 feet tall). There is a warehouse/manufacturing building, Dixie Corporation, right behind it. It is made of painted concrete. The "Dixie Cup" landmark is located on Iowa Street just north of Palmyrita. The manufacturing plant itself is now non-existent.

Three notable hills are in Riverside's scenic landscape: Box Springs Mountain, Evans (Jurupa) Hill and Tecolote Hill; all of which are preserved open spaces. South of Riverside is Lake Matthews. There is also the well-known landmark/foothill, Rubidoux Mountain, which is next to the Santa Ana River and one of the most noticeable landmark in the downtown area. This mountain is the dividing line between the town of Rubidoux and the City of Riverside.

[edit] Neighborhoods
Victoria Avenue, which bisects Riverside, hosts many species of trees and plants.
Victoria Avenue, which bisects Riverside, hosts many species of trees and plants.

The City of Riverside has 28 neighborhoods within city limits. These neighborhoods include: Airport, Alessandro Heights, Arlanza, Arlington, Arlington Heights, Arlington South, Canyon Crest, Casa Blanca, Downtown, Eastside, Grand, Hawarden Hills, Hunter Industrial Park, La Sierra, La Sierra Acres, La Sierra Hills, La Sierra South, Magnolia Center, Mission Grove, Northside, Orangecrest, Presidential Park, Ramona, Sycamore Canyon Park, Sycamore Canyon/Canyon Springs, University, Victoria, and Wood Streets.

My city has its problems, but its a good place to live. Lots of diversity, lots to do, 40 minutes from the beach, 10 minutes from the mountains, 30 minutes from the desert. 40 minutes from L.A. and if you can't find a date in this city you have problems. lol

they get in a fight over the dumbest shit.

the last fight there was.. was of 3 girls.

2 were dating (Marci & Ashley) and the other was bisexual (Misty). (not discriminating, thats just important info for WHY they were fighting.)

Misty is new and has sex with 7 of our guys 3 who already had girlfriends.

Well... Ashley cheated on Marci with Misty.
and Marci found out.
Well Misty said she was going to beat Marci's ass so that Ashley would break up with Marci for misty.
Well Marci went up to her and started beating the shit out of her..
well someone tripped Marci and she fell down so misty started busting her head off the cement floor, and she stopped and ran away..

in the end, marci left the school and went to the ER, broke her nose and is still with Ashley?
Misty got arrested and as soon as she got out of JDC she moved schools.

Everything below is from http://en.wikipedia.org/w...inneapolis

Minneapolis is the largest city in the U.S. state of Minnesota and is the county seat of Hennepin County. The city lies on both banks of the Mississippi River, just north of the river's confluence with the Minnesota River, and adjoins Saint Paul, the state's capital. Known as the Twin Cities, these two cities form the core of Minneapolis-St. Paul, the 16th-largest metropolitan area in the United States, with about 3.2 million residents. The city of Minneapolis' population is estimated at 372,811 people as of 2005.

Once a hub for timber milling, and flour milling, Minneapolis is the primary business center in the vast expanse between Chicago and Seattle, Washington.[3] The city is largely liberal, and in part of its role as county seat, it has worked toward improving the health and welfare of all residents, including the less fortunate.

Public park systems are modeled after Minneapolis, where lakes are used for recreation year-around, and a park is within one-half mile (.8 km) of every home. Regional theater was pioneered at the city's Guthrie Theater and is part of a strong local tradition in the performing arts.

Minneapolis made dramatic changes to rectify discrimination as early as 1886 when Martha Ripley founded Maternity Hospital for both married and unmarried mothers.[12] When the country's fortunes turned during the Great Depression, the violent Teamsters Strike of 1934 resulted in laws acknowledging worker's rights.[13] In 1945, mayor Hubert H. Humphrey skillfully brought opposing interests together and forged the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party.[14] Minneapolis contended with white supremacy, participated in desegregation and the African-American civil rights movement, and in 1968 was the birthplace of the American Indian Movement.[15]

Minneapolitans are a diverse group of people with ancestors from five continents. Their heritage of welcoming newcomers began in the 19th and continues into the 21st century. During the 1850s and 1860s, new settlers arrived from New England and New York, and during the mid-1860s, Scandinavians from Sweden, Norway, and Denmark began to call the city home. Later, immigrants came from Germany, Italy, Greece, Poland, and southern and eastern Europe. Jewish people came from Russia and eastern Europe, settling primarily on the city's north side before moving in large numbers to the western suburbs in the 1950s and 1960s.[25] Asians came from China, the Philippines, Japan, and Korea. Two groups came for a short while during U.S. government relocations, Japanese during the 1940s, and Native Americans during the 1950s. From 1970 onward, Asians arrived from Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and Thailand. Beginning in the 1990s, a large Latino population arrived. Since the 1990s, refugees arrived from Africa, many from Somalia, from Southeast Asia, and Latin America.[26]

Estimates in 2005 show the population of Minneapolis to be 372,811, a 2.6% drop since the 2000 census.[1] The population grew until 1950 when the census peaked at 521,718, and then declined as people moved to the suburbs until about 1990. The number of African-Americans, Asians, and Hispanics is growing. Non-whites are now about one fifth of the city's residents.[27]

The region is second only to New York City in live theater per capita[41] and is the third-largest theater market in the U.S.

Minneapolitans support 12 large art, cultural, science, and historical museums alongside smaller galleries and museums, 4 large ballet, dance, and folkdance companies, as well as filmmakers groups and numerous theater companies.[46] The city publishes updates to The Minneapolis Plan for Arts and Culture which has produced results such as the formal recognition of the Northeast Arts District.[47]

The Minneapolis park system has been called the best-designed, best-financed and best-maintained in America.[62] Foresight, donations and effort by community leaders enabled Horace Cleveland to create some of his best landscape architecture, preserving geographical landmarks and linking them with boulevards and parkways.[63] The city's Chain of Lakes is connected by bike, running, and walking paths and used for swimming, fishing, picnics, boating, and ice skating. A parkway for cars, a bikeway for riders, and a walkway for pedestrians run parallel paths along the 52 mile (83 km) route of the Grand Rounds Scenic Byway.[64]

I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

Dearborn, Michigan is a suburb of Detroit, Michigan and home to 100,000 people. About a third of Dearborn's residents have ancestry from the Middle East which helps make metro Detroit the largest population of Middle Eastern people anywhere outside the Middle East.

In January 2005, a new Arab American National Museum opened as a result of this large concentrated population. The city is also home to the Islamic Center of America, the largest mosque in North America and the Dearborn Mosque. Because of the Arab influence in cultural east side of Dearborn, store signs and billboards written in Arabic are common sights.

Dearborn is home to Ford Motor Company, the Ford River Rouge Plant, built by Henry Ford to make Ford Model T components, and later the birthplace (and former production line) of the Ford Mustang. It currently produces Ford F150 trucks. At one time the plant employed 120,000 people and produced finished vehicles from iron ore and sand. Dearborn is also home to Fordson High School, the first million dollar high school within the nation. http://en.wikipedia.org/w...,_Michigan

The median income for a household in the city was $44,560, and the median income for a family was $53,060. Males had a median income of $45,114 versus $33,872 for females. The per capita income for the city was $21,488. About 12.2% of families and 16.1% of the population were below the poverty line, including 24.4% of those under age 18 and 7.6% of those age 65 or over.

Queen West (University to Spadina):

...The vibrant arts culture soon attracted other artists, audiences, and wealthier people to the area. Since then, the name "Queen Street" has become synonymous with the words "trendy", "hip", and "cool". Older and hipper bars such as the Cameron, the Horseshoe Tavern and The Rivoli have not changed much, and top Canadian musical and comedy acts can still often be found performing in the area.

The CHUM-City Building, housing CHUM Limited's television operations, is located at the corner of Queen and John Streets in this area. Most notably among the CHUM operations, MuchMusic has become intimately associated with Queen Street's culture; the station's VJs have often broadcast their segments live from outside the building, and programs such as Electric Circus and the MuchMusic Video Awards have regularly taken place on the street.

Some people compare the "Queen West" experience with that of New York's SoHo
