Name an Occupation (Other Than Your Own) That You Find Interesting....

For me, it would be a coroner. Yeah, I know it would be pretty gross, having to cut open dead people's bodies and seeing all their organs, blood, etc. But it would be really interesting to figure out how and why somebody died. I think I've been watching waaaaay too much "Dr. G" on the Discovery Health Channel. lol
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I always wanted to be an event planner. What better way to spend your time then throwing parties and making it possible for people to simply have a good time?

But alas, I think I'd rather enjoy the party than throw it most of the time. lol

The world needs people like them.....they bring closure to lots of families. I'd hate not knowing how a loved one died. So someone has to do, you know. I'd love to be a Roller Coaster Engineer/Designer.

You know that lady on the travel Channel who gets to go places and gets pampered in rich, lavish, hotels while inviting you to "join her"?

Yeah, that's the job I want.

An event planner would be an awesome job. nod Think I would enjoy attending a party than planning it as well.

This is true. I love roller coasters, so if you were to ever become an engineer/designer of one, I would definitely ride it. biggrin

You know your adventures with your meetups would make great coffee table reading. You should look into it. There's an entire market for those types of travel books.

I'm currently reading "No touch Monkey" which is in that vein, and though it's light on the traditions and history of the places the author has visited, it's heavy on the hilarious events of those travels.

...though I have that secret desire to work in the music trade. Not play music; I've been playing the guitar long enough to know that's hopeless. But work in a record store, or handle booking bands at a club, something like that. It's the only time I've felt envious of another person's occupation.

Oooh, good idea. See, I actually hate attending parties, but I would enjoy the planning. So, how about I plan them and your job can be attending them to see how they go and give me feedback (so I don't have to)? biggrin

I'd love either of those things too. In fact, I think it would be damn cool to do both in the same space. Good coffee surrounded by flowers, people come in for one thing and end up buying both. . . thumbs up!
