So we have this alligator that folks out here in california found in a lake over a year ago named reggie! despite all the efforts of many folks, reggie was unable to be captured, until today. He will now live in the L.A. zoo! I think I will see him this summer.

How did they know his name was Reggie?

I just watch a clip about Reggie on CNN, he was someone's pet at first but then he got too big and they (whomever) put him in the lake.
