Hey I just wanted that you guys for turning me into a completely deadly email weapon!!!

I just recently worked a freelance gig and I worked hard. The man I worked for was a complete asshole going so far as to tell me to just be quiet and work so that we could make deadline.

Now if I was a rookie that would be warented but I am not and there was no way we weren't going to make slot. Anyway I kissed his ass as I figure you should do with "The Boss" within reason mind you. He had me go all the way out to where the work was done TWICE and didn't use me.

So I turned in my invoice and I charged him four hours for both those days under a freelance rule called "24 hour cancellation" Basically the rule says that if you cancel a "gig" within a 24 hour period you have to pay a half days wages.

Well we have been going back and forth in emails and I am completly owning him!!! I can't share them yet because I might have to use them if I file suit. But I just want to let everyone know that I think its all the time I spend on here going back and forth about any and everything that has turned me into to a complete and deadly EMAILING FOOL!!!

So the moral of the story is this:

Never feel bad about all the time you spend arguing on the org because its gonna come in handy one day believe me.

It's helped me out too -- with critical thinking, in debates, with papers, in consumer complaints, in arguments with my wife , etc.

One time I called a guy a "jagoff" and he was completely flummoxed.
