There has never been any evidence of the commission of a crime by Woody Allen and he is NOT a pedophile. A pedophile is someone who has sex with underage girls. Woody Allen did not have sex with Soon-Yi until she was 21 years old. Not only was she legal for sex, she could also go out for drinks with him if she wished.

You should really give up on this since you are absolutely incorrect in all of your assumptions and assertions and are doing a very poor job of arguing your case. Maybe a little more study time would be instructive, as you don't seem to understand the definition of pedophile.

And your statement has absolutely NOTHING to do with Woody Allen's quote. He is speaking of young people who want to be artists... he is telling them to stay true to themselves and not worry about criticism and to become the artists that they can be through determination and self-confidence. This has NOTHING to do with child molestation.

I don't like the man. He didn't commit pedophilia or engage in child pornography, but he betrayed the trust of his partner, Mia Farrow, and got together with the little girl he'd watched grow up into a woman. He was definitely her father figure, and the shit got way Electra/Oedipal. Yuck. Ice, imagine a woman moving in with you now and then 10 years later she gets together with your son and marries him...

I separate his personal life from his films and he is my favorite writer/director.

I find many of his films to be hilarious. I wish he'd do more of them, though, where he isn't actually in them himself...
