I am too scared to want to try it, but it depends if you're one of the people who get off on the adrenaline. Me, I just scream.

My fella did a tandem skydive once, he was terrified but loved it.

You don't need to jump off the side of a bridge with a rubber band strapped to you to get the thrill of feeling like you're falling. I think you can get the same "oh, shit I'm falling" affect on a rollercoaster ride, hell they have rides now that aren't even finished you can get on. The damn things just stop in mid air, now that shit is thrilling...riding along at speeds reaching 100 and then no more tracks. eek

No comparison, though I LOVE thrill rides. smile

ZK, I seriously hope you go for it! Have someone take a few pics if possible! I've never wanted to bungee but I'm addicted to skydiving. Let us know how it pans out! yay!

Really, I can see the diff in being strapped into a ride and hanging by a bungee rope but I would think that knot you get in the stomach would be the same. Or is it more about the thrill of toying with chance?

Regardless of the circumstance, the feeling of riding a rollercoaster is incredibly tame compared to hanging off the wing of an airplane, or looking down off the side of an extremely high bridge. The adrenaline, the fear, the intense wind so loud that each word your instructor says is whipped from their mouth so fast that you can't hear them, and the general knowledge of what will happen to you if something goes wrong. lol There's NO comparison.

Bungee jumping violates all three of my personal rules:

* Cannot be too high in the air
* Cannot go down fast
* Cannot go upside-down

okay.. Well for me "same thing" I get that on a roller coaster ride so I know I won't be jumping off the side of a bridge or hanging of the wing of an airplane. But the interesting thing for me is that I can look down off the side of a high bridge or building with no problem and I could probably go for skydiving. Bungee ain't happening shake

I'm not. There's not a lot of rides I can handle at amusement parks. Waste of money for myself. neutral

It's not for me, but I don't even want to ride rollercoasters anymore. I'm sure it's a rush, but I don't need that kind of rush right now.
