i like how his hands went from gnarled torture-scarred monster claws to perfectly manicured movie star hands in the course of 24 hours. lol

I NOTICED THAT. lol

It's a highly implausible show, and the plots have become very repetitive. The things we endure for the ones we love. disbelief

I agree, the ending was lame. But I laughed out loud when Jack was telling the SecDef what he'd do if they tried to follow him and Audrey:

"If you send anyone after us, I'll kill them. Pretty good at that, too."

LOL.

But there ARE unanswered questions, such as:

-Did President Nixon die after he got stabbed?
-What happened to his wife? Did she get arrested, or get a medal?
-What the hell WAS Phillip Bauer's plan? And damn - that guy was UGLY.
-Will Jack get arrested?
-What happened to his daughter? Will Jack ever let her know he's alive?
-Did President Palmer recover?
-Why didn't that blond chick who was boffing the Russian spy ask for amnesty before helping the US? Hell, everyone else does.

All in all, not a bad season, but a lame ending IMHO.

Don't know about every scene they showed him in, but he definitely still had the scars in the last episode. Yes, I feel the need to defend the season a bit.

I hope "Heroes" comes out on dvd in time for me to catch up before next season.

"Lost" was ok this season. But no new episodes until January. I've always been bored by lost, but I guess because it's on Wednesday and I never have anything going on I've been able to keep up with it. The recent "Jacob" episode freaked my shit, though.

to me, LOST is the best show on tv..especially after the 2 hour season finally last night...

I also watch "24" and while it did drag this season, I will still watch...if for nothing, for Audrey biggrin

it's an uphill battle, but if you're looking for an underdog to champion, you picked a good one. lol

Yeah, last night's episode was pretty durn good. Especially when chic got out of the car and you realized it wasn't a flashback. biggrin Who do you think was in the casket? I'm guessing Juliet, cause Jack was torn up about it, but Kate didn't care at all.

I'm leaning towards Ben. I think that could really make sense, considering the finale. Jack absolutely hates Ben and does not trust him in that one moment when (as it seems at the moment) he actually should. So maybe the Others will turn out to be the "good" guys, Jack realizes he made a mistake and the relationship between Ben and him completely changes. But who knows? Looking back at some screencaps, the coffin seemed really small, maybe it's not for an adult?

Also, someone enhanced and cleared up the frame when Jack read the newspaper article that let's him know that this someone died. You can read part of a name and (don't highlight if you don't want to know anything about it) it does not seem to be a name that has been introduced yet.

Ben's a pretty small guy, though, so it could be.

Or you could be right about it being someone we haven't seen yet. The enhanced news pic obviously says that it was a man, though, so it wasn't Juliet. but anything could happen between the finale and that flash-forward. The writers may not even know yet, since it seems like alot of the stuff they make up as they go.

I doubt it was Ben...cuz think about it....why would ANY of the survivors care enough to want to even go to his funeral, ESPECIALLY Jack.

I think it was Aaron in the casket

The baby? No way. The newspaper clipping said it was a man. And that casket was way too big for a 2 y.o. And you don't know, maybe Ben really ends up being what he says he is, "The Good Guy" and Naomi is one of the "Bad Guys."
