Carrie is right. Heros was really really good. The ending wasn't as spectacular as I thought it was going to be, but it was still amazing!

I thought the Heroes finale was a little anticlimactic, specifically the fight between Peter and Sylar. I guess it could be explained that Peter still can't quite control his powers yet (why couldn't he fly off into space by himself?) and was the reason why he was still going to explode. I mean everyone else got in a shot at Sylar (Hiro, Jessica/NiKi, Parkman) except for Peter. Speaking of which, I thought Hiro stabbed Sylar too easily. Maybe he slowed down time or something as he ran towards Sylar that prevented him from reacting more quickly. The real battle between Peter and Sylar looks to have begun a few weeks ago at the end of the future episode. Too bad we'll never see it.

Joanie and Micah should become friends. I like the two of them together.

I bet the incest shippers loved that Nathan held Peter as he exploded all over the place.

HA! But we don't know that, do we? It all took place off-camera so it's entirely possible that up in space Peter was finally able to tap into Nathan's power and stay aloft by himself. Nathan then flew out of harm's way before Peter exploded.

falloff

The only thing I wanted Peter to TAP was Nathan's ass.

Sorry. It had to be said.

You know with D.L, Parkman, Noah Bennett, Syler, Peter and Nathan getting the crap kicked out of them I would hope that one of them died, just to keep it kinda based in reality. Nathan would be the perfect character to die, by redeeming himself by sacrificing himself.

Oh and the set up for next season was really really fun, and FINALLY that damn Eclipse came into play!!!!

I thought that's what was so cool about it. We all thought there would be a knock-down-drag-out between Peter and Sylar.

And Peter did say he couldn't control the explosion...I just don't want to believe he's dead.

I'd love to see Niki and her husband adopt Molly. And Parkman was a big dummy.

I agree for the most part with your thoughts.... I was very disapointed that Hiro just strided in and sliced him..... no battle at all.... I imagine Nathan will be back... bet he will say Peter pushed him away... shrug

I did like the even more comicbookish appearance then ever before.....

I think Syler is that ROACH at the end of the show. He just went down the manhole.

Why did Nathan have to fly Peter out. Couldn't Peter have flown himself?

Pretty lack luster of an ending. It was nice, but I was expecting more. They should not have ended it with the first minutes of next season.

+++Me too. Very short.

I guess it could be explained that Peter still can't quite control his powers yet (why couldn't he fly off into space by himself?)

+++I don't get that either. He seems to be in control and then he seems not to be. I thought that he'd be able to fly at least.

I thought Hiro stabbed Sylar too easily. Maybe he slowed down time or something as he ran towards Sylar that prevented him from reacting more quickly

+++Sylar is alive...he slithered into that sewer. I'm hearing Peter and Nathan come back too. Matt...maybe.

The script called for one of them to drop the other in the ocean. It says that Peter was dropped after exploding, but I think it was Nathan who was dropped after flyiong peter up. We didn't get to see this for some reason, but it was in the script.

Well in the 5 yrs later, it pretty much didn't seem that Nathan helped out Peter during the Explosion, cause it happened. I assumed that somehow Syler killed Nathan later on and took on his appearance to become President. This of course that Syler also took out the shiftshaper that was holding Michal hostage.

I think Syler is that ROACH at the end of the show. He just went down the manhole.

M

I wondered that for a minute, but there was that HUGE blood stain on the sidewalk leading down the manhole. I think the roach was there just for extra creepyness. Sylar could shapeshift in the five years in the future episode because he had killed Joanie and could shape shift...in the present he never killed her so never got that ability.

Well this is the second time that we've seen that close up of a roach, the other time was when Syler was captured and found dead. Roaches can lower their metabolism to appear dead, so maybe Syler was able to lower his after crawling down the manhole to stop the bleeding and such I dunno. But the roach means something.

Does anyone know what Molly was talking about when she said there was only one character that she couldn't find because whenever she thinks of him he "sees" her?

I think this may be the introduction of a very cool new villian.

Maybe the ROACH is the man that can see the little girl when she thinks about him.

I thought that line was so creepy.
