Where The Hell Were The Parents Of This 3-years-old Girl?!? (NSFW Due To Accidental Content) http://www.youtube.com/wa...Uw-AkCqT7s
First of all, THIS IS NOT FUNNY AT ALL! . And yes, I'll tell anyone to try real hard not to laugh at this. Second of all, how in the hell could the little girl's parents just let this child wander off so easily?!?

There was a follow-up report that the child was able to lift her head up from the floor. So thank goodness she didn't end-up with a neck injury.

I'll take a wild stab and assume you don't have children.

people need to relax...she could have been with a babysitter or something and children wander off lots of times and get injured...they can't be watched 24-7.

I'll take a wild stab and assume you don't have children. I'm a very single man with no kids (Thank goodness because they cost money! ). But I've babysitted other people kids before (like my bestfriend's two sons for example). And the main lessons I've gotten out of those experiences: 1. I'm not ready for kids of my own right now! AND 2. You can never ever let children out of your site under any circumstances (especially toddlers that love to get lost on purpose). And yes, it's very easy for me to say that if that was my 3-years-old daughter, that accident would have never happen in the first place because I know exactly how to hold a child's hand & wrist with a good grip. Or even better, that child was better off being carry the whole time, IMO. [Edited 5/26/07 16:11pm]

It's not like they were standing about to cross a busy road, but good to know children in your care are safe! The most important thing though is the child

Yes, I'm strong enough to carry a 3-year-old child for a certain amount of time in a subway station, at a bus stop, OR everywhere else breakdancers perform these days.

It looks like, thankfully, that the child didn't hit her head when she hit the ground. It was her torso that hit it. She probably had some bruising and had the wind knocked the hell outta her.
It's true, one second you look away and them little shits will be all over. I was holding my girlfriend's baby (one armed) and I looked away and that little twerp squirmed off me and whacked her head against my coffee table. Needless to say I was so mortified that she hurt her head that I didn't hold another baby for years. I felt SOOO guilty...i should have

at the local playground here at least 15 to 20 kids wind up in the er a week during the summer after being kicked by other kids on swings. things happen most of the time before we can catch them. [Edited 5/26/07 21:43pm] Poppys, daisys life is crazy
