When I think I don't have the answers, I actually do. I find that when I take the time to stop, be still and go inward, the "right thing" ends up becoming very clear. Sometimes this means meditating, sometimes it means freewriting, other times going to sleep and dreaming.

When I feel like I need the guidance of my ancestors, I pray at my altar or go visit their resting places. I'll often receive some kind of sign very quickly.

Nobody

I'm completely alone when it comes to getting personal advice. I feel that nobody that I know really connects with me on a level that can understand what I need. It feels kind of shitty really.


As for advice about computers, electronics, etc. I have a list of 3 friends I always go to.

I almost never look for advice. At least not about anything serious. If I do, it's almost always and only Darin.



If it's not so serious I may actually ask anyone and everyone their opinion, just for conversation's sake.

More whys, since you asked:

My mother because she always wants what's best for me and will often advise me to do what will bring me the most happiness. She is always extremely supportive and reminds me that life is short and to make the most of it.

My lover because he is incredibly intelligent and level-headed. I admire the way he looks at the world. He has a strong sense of right and wrong, and will always give me his opinions honestly, even if it means not telling me what I want to hear. I'm very impulsive, and he helps me to slow down and consider the long term.

My sisterfriend Carla because we're very similar in many ways. I seek her advice/opinion when I'm not sure I'm reading a situation correctly, or unsure of whether I'm reacting appropriately. I think I go to her for validation.

It changes depending on what the situation is that I need advice or guidance with.

1.) Always my other half first
2.) Usually my dad - he knows me pretty well and he always has a sense of humor to cheer me up.
3.) Mom- which is not always a good thing....I am learning to listen to myself first then ask others.
