First Joker Pic from "The Dark Knight" I agree with the author. This movie sounds like it'll be dark as hell, and I love it.

Jack will always be The Joker to me. Batman 89 is just the movie that fits my time. Michael Keaton is my favorite actor, period. Jack is great. Prince's music. Danny Elfman's score. Tim Burton directing and Sam Hamm writing. It doesn't get better than that.
That being said, I'm loving the direction Nolan took Batman Begins, and the sequel is my most anticipated movie for the future. The Joker looks spooky which is GREAT!

oooh! they're going for the really creepy/deranged Joker. cool. as much as I enjoyed Jack Nicholson's joker, it was a bit over the top camp to do the character justice and come off as a threat. this should be good. [Edited 5/20/07 9:02am] Exactly. I liked Batman '89, but Nolan's Batman is truer to the comic version. If Nolan bases his Joker on "The Dark Knight Returns" or "The Killing Joke", this movie will be sick!

I think a great start to the movie would be him killing the female character from the first movie. Damn that would be CRAZY intense.

I had this pic pointed out to me today and I just thought 'Wow!'
Scares the shit out of me and I just pray that this is the way Heath's Joker will be throughout the movie.

i like this pic, but i'm hoping it's a prelude to the classic bloated/elongated yellow-toothed smile that we all know and love. ya just can't have the joker without it. if they make it all gnarled and gristly and bloodied up for the sake of "gritty realism", all the better.

It's the perfect picture for those internet gags where you stare at a picture for so long and then BAM! that pic comes on at the end with a screaming noise.

I love the way the new Batman series is shaping up..Batman Begins is one of my fav movies

I think this one will, quite likely, be far superior to the first.

Reminds me, in a certain sense, of Eric Draven from The Crow. In my opinion, one of the best comic to movie adaptations out there...

That's pretty scary. Reminds me a bit of Captain Spalding from House of 1000 Corpses. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

My favourite Bat Villian is Two-Face and I'm glad they got a young good-looking actor to play Harvey Dent/Two-Face. That's the way he's supposed to be from the comics. His whole reason for going criminally insane is that he is vain about his looks and it's spoiled when half his face is scarred by acid.
The actor they got to play him in the first series of movies was too old and ugly. Sorry I can't remember his name. The Joker is my second favourite Bat Villian, and this version looks good. The new film will be a must-see for me.

speaking from experience the reason people's teeth look yellow with Clown White are is because the White is pure white and only the other colors of the teeth which are more of an ivory or off white show. To Promugulate Universal Joy and Expiate Stigmatic Guilt

I truly hope that this isn't what they've decided on 4 The Joker.
It's horrendously bad. Not dark or gruesome... just awful. It actually looks like one of The Joker's victims. Who knows? "He's a musician's musician..."

Man you can't have the Joker without a mustache covered in white face makeup! That's for sure! Socks still got butt like a leather seat...
