Worries/Comforts Sitting here, sunny morning, sipping coffee, doodling around on the internet, thinking.
Is worry ever good? If so, what makes it good? What's the right balance of staying in the moment versus considering the future? What are you worried about? Today, but also what are the sorts of things that tend to worry you long-term? What do you tell yourself to make it ok? ![]() oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!

Keeping an eye on tomorrow doesn't mean you have to worry. You know what I'm sayin'?

I come from a long line of worry-some women, so sometimes it's difficult for me to let go. I'll worry about little things and big things and I try not to let it get the better of me. |

Hello Lady! A certain portion of it can take us to the next level.... much more then that is just a poison to the body. They only way out of it for me, is action. ( Even if the specific action doesnt change the long range so much)

I'll worry about little things and big things and I try not to let it get the better of me. I come from worriers too. I thought I had blissfully missed that gene, but it turned out that it was just late in being switched on. Sometimes more than ANYthing I wish I could just hit pause on life and spend a couple of weeks wandering around in my own head, regaining perspective. . . oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!

Is worry ever good? My first thought was "no." I love that saying that compares worrying to a rocking chair: using up your energy but not getting you anywhere. For the most part, that's very true. But in reality, I think it isn't that simple. Sometimes worry is an extension of concern. If I didn't worry about my kids getting lost or hurt, I wouldn't make them promise to call me when they get to school as they leave for the bus stop in the morning. They do, and knowing they're safe saves me a bunch of nagging extra worry for the rest of the day. What are you worried about? Today, but also what are the sorts of things that tend to worry you long-term? What do you tell yourself to make it ok?
I don't tend to be a long-term worrier. I tell myself "what will be, will be." And I believe it. Faith in God/dess and my spirit helpers definitely helps me. There are a few long-term things that worry me sometimes, but it's more like a jolt of fear. When that happens, I try to look at the fear for what it is, ask myself what it's really about, and usually it goes away once I've identified it and given it some attention. I don't think anything good can come of worrying.
You should palce all your fears in.....and now that what happens is happening for a reason. I worry about my kids mainly. About their future. Anything other than that doesn't affect me.
