Most DVDs I've copied using this method are done - start to finish - in 20 minutes or less. I have Nero.. now is Nero Shrink another programme that I need to download? I tried it on Nero but it didnt work. I have downloaded a free trial of Magic DVD Copier and its really good, but you only get 5 tries, and I have only one left, and I am not going to buy the software, so now I need to find a different free programme to use. sp edit [Edited 5/18/07 9:13am] G L A M S L A M . If you go to this link it'll tell you all about it, plus there's more info on where to find it, how to use it etc. http://www.galway.cc/comp.../catid,40/ DVD Shrink still works for at least 90% of DVDs but when it won't work I also use Magic DVD Copier. I think I also only have 1 (maybe 2) tries left, but I will buy it when I need to - it costs less than €30 so it'll have paid for itself after 5 uses. Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.

DVD shrink wants me to register my details.. They must have changed that - I'm pretty sure I didn't have to register when I downloaded it. Orgnote me an email address and I'll send it to you - no registration is required when you install it. Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.

thanks Eh? Not sure I understand your question. Dual Core will make no difference to the DVD copying capabilities of your computer, except to possibly speed it up a little. Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.

No, you got my question. I want to be able to do the dvd thing and be on the org at the same I don't think that'll be a problem. I have a dual core and it's pretty good. With previous machines if I was ripping vinyl/cassette or copying DVD's I'd make sure not to use any other applications, otherwise things would get glitchy. With the dual core I can run plenty of heavy applications at the same time without any problems. So you could probably rip a dvd, play a game, instant message, org, browse all you other websites, mix a tune, photoshop, cut some loops, design a webpage, and play solitaire all at the same time without a problem (providing you have six keyboards and twelve hands of course).
