Yeay!

Found a little sweetiepie on Craigslist. I've re-named her Jupiter (she's a black/orange/white brindle, she looks like the planet . . . she's also round like the planet ).

My other kitty went to live with my ex, and I've missed having one around, so I'm pretty excited.

I'll post a pic when I can get one. She's currently beginning her exploration of her new palace by a thorough consideration of the space in the corner behind my couch. Not because she's scared. She just believes that this is the most reasonable approach. She thanks us all for our understanding of her Process.





Edit: she came out and hung out with me long enough for me to get some pics. I love the first one. "Mmm, the other humans told you that I like foooood."

How old is she?

Kitty Cats are the best. I was just thinking... tonight, my cat has been so good and patient. I have not paid as much attention to him this month due to work exhaustion and family commitments. I felt he deserved some new toys... $40.00 worth, he is having a blast right now at this very moment.

Yay for Kitty's... my niece and nephews call me Aunt JuJu. But I read... it is now Jupiter.

So, now she's hiding under the bed.

While she's being a very normal relocated adult cat, I still feel bad for her. She's very social, and she likes it when I come say hi to her or reach out and pet her, but I think she's pretty worried 'cause of my dog. She has never been around one before. I've got him kenneled, but of course she can still see and smell him, and my place is too small to avoid that.

I know in a couple of days she'll be her usual self, but dammit, I want to cuddle with my new kitty! I'm such an impatient creature.

She's so cute.
