The Bay to Breakers fun run in San Francisco today. At noon. We saw folks toward the end of the run (aka walk, stagger) totally incapacitaed. One person had to have CPR. 60,000 plus participants.
The costumes were fun, except for those who wore Nothing!

How far is the run?

I did the AIDS Walk today. It rained on us.

I wish people who like to walk around publically nude would reconsider. It's disturbing to some folks--just like clown outfits.

People for a mile radius around the park were staggering, being held up by friends, passed out on the grass, running into things. We overheard a police officer directing traffic ask "How the fuck are we going to get them out of here?" this was at 2:00.

My point is: the news media shows the costumes and fun.....no one shows the aftermath. The garbage all over the place. No taxicab drivers were in the vicinity. Knew better. had business elsewhere.

Bay to Breakers is my favorite San Francisco event. Unfortunately, I didn't make it this year. Yes, it can be a drunk fest.

This year, a woman won the race for the first time in its 96 year history. She wasn't among those below.
