I don't know why that surprises me so much since you're obviously smart and sensible enough for the job by far. Maybe I'm surprised because you're usually unwilling to get into conflicts yourself so I figured you'd also be unwilling to mediate other people's conflicts. Oh well, either way I think you have potential to be a fantastic moderator and congratulations for getting the job. 
As for internet in hotel rooms, I just got back from Sicily and the hotel room had a flat screen tv and a wireless keyboard on the desk below. Turns out that there's a multimedia function where you can use the internet for 4 euros per day (which isn't bad) or get the whole package with unlimited pay-per-view movies (including their wide selection of adult movies  ), internet and music for a total of 20 euros per day. I thought it was pretty high tech stuff and a relatively reasonable price too. Only problem was that once you've payed your twenty euros you want good value for your money and end up wasting almost a whole day watching movies.  Okay, I guess I have to ask a direct question to get a response: Why did you choose to become a moderator, Carrie?  | |
