Does anyone else hate getting their hair cut? Everytime I go in to get my hair trimmed, I get a feeling of panic while my hair is being cut. I had waist length hair, but needed a few inches cut off because the ends were unhealthy. The whole time the lady was cutting, my face felt hot, and my muscles tensed up. I love my long hair very much, and I always have a secret fear that the hairdresser will suddenly say, "Oops! I cut too much off here, Now I need to even it out..."
Is anyone else this paranoid about their hair, or am I just crazy? Wanna hear me sing? www.ChampagneHoneybee.com

Is anyone else this paranoid about their hair, or am I just crazy? I am scared that they will cut too much hair off!. I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

I HATE getting a haircut. My hair is very short, and I always end up hating it for at least a week before it grows out to something I can stand. Knowing that always makes me really anxious in the chair. Adding to that is the fact that I still don't have a regular stylist since mine moved to Florida. So I'm wandering from person to person, trusting a stranger with my head until I find someone I really like. The Normal Whores Club

When I was a kid I hated it because of the trimmer ...and the hair dryer was always too hot. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

I think my fear started when I was 7 years old. I had butt length hair, and I loved it. Unfortunately, my long hair was always in tangles, no matter how much my mom brushed it. When I went to get a little trim, the hairdresser ould get her comb through the tangles. Rather than trying to use products (or a little elbow grease) to untangle it, she cut off my hair above the knots! I left with a shoulder length bob, and I cried my eyes out.
The same thing happened when I was 13, when I already felt ugly and had a poor self image. The hairdresser took the liberty of cutting my hair short, even though there was nothing wrong, and I didn't want her to do it. Having my beautiful hair gone was traumatizing. True, but it takes my hair a long time to grow. I'm not as lucky as some Indian women, who seem to grow hair at an inch a week. My hair also stops growing at a certain point, so while I love having long hair, it's difficult to achieve. Wanna hear me sing? www.ChampagneHoneybee.com

I used to get scared. But that was when I had a stylist who didnt know what the hell they were doing. They said...Im gonna trim a couple of inches off and I'd see ALL OF THIS HAIR on the floor.
The stylist I have now, knows what I like and she likes the length of my hair. I think she thinks my hair is hers... She only gives me a trim when I need it and its never alot. My fiance is a barber,he knows I dont like a lot cut off of my hair;He says, "Dont let her cut your hair,I'll do it later". "Nobody makes me bleed my own blood...NOBODY!"

i don't like that it takes time and costs money and that i have to make awkward small talk with the hairstylist and whenever i get a decent idea for a new haircut they always look at me like i've lost my damn mind.

I thought that was against the rules oh MAN, that's the worst because you're their captive audience. at the place i used to go, there was one lady who was MAD AT THE WORLD and did her best to fill me in on her latest list of everyone who had done her wrong. did i want to hear this? no. did i have a choice? no. oh GOD, i used to dread walking in that place to see her working.

I hate going to cut my hair, not because I'm getting a hair cut, but because the older women at the salon are always telling me I shouldn't cut my hair because they like my long hair. They must be out of their minds if they think I'm going to be sweating all summer just to keep my long hair, which is way too long at the moment!

As a male, i love to have my hair cut but i rarely do. I normally decide to have my hair cut after some life trial e.g. a break up or a new begining. Its weird but it feels like i am a different person and that an 'energy' so to speak has been removed from my life. Love that feeling!

I read that a lot of women will do that too. After a break up, they cut their hair to start a new chapter of their lives (especially if their ex really liked their long hair). I'm not one of those women! Wanna hear me sing? www.ChampagneHoneybee.com
