Oh, and I don't have an answer to your question, sorry. I try to avoid TV at all costs. I abuse myself in too many other ways to add television at this point in time. confused

Rome is awesome! You really have to pay attention though, and it may take a episodes to really get into it, even if you're familiar with the basic story.
Atia and Servilia (badly misspelled, but you'll know who I mean) are awesome.

i love that show. been meaning to buy it on dvd but it's still
very expensive so i think i'll just wait until season 2 is out
over here. they usually put previous seasons into the discount
at that time.

smile

but if you're interested in ancient Rome, might i suggest the
old BBC Production "I, Claudius"..

it's no big production and there are no effects. in fact it's
almost like a play, but done as a series. the acting is really
great and the cast is just superb.

one of the best series ever, counting all the modern cool and
high $ productions.
and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

That sounds interesting. I looked it up and read more about it, and I'm going to check that out.

yeah they were both mean, but I liked Atia better smile I loved Rome, I was sad to learn that they had cancelled the show. Those other new shows that HBO is about to air don't look up to par.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Yeah, Atia was a great character. But I just felt much more empathy for Servilia. I wanted her to win out, but it every plot she hatched just failed. Of Course, about everything Atia did blew up in her face too. biggrin
I guess it had to end when it did, really? How much further could they have gone with it, without a change of the entire cast? HBO dropped it ultimately because it was too expensive to produce.
I tried watching "The Tudors" but it doesn't compare.

ewww, how could you root for that bitch Servilia? I couldn't wait until she died, she annoyed me so badly. At least Atia got some dick out of the deal, a lot of dick, Servilia got so bitter after Caesar shunned her that she had to plot his death. disbelief She just couldn't let it go. I thought the guy who played Antony was kind of hott batting eyes My favorite was Pullo, I loved that man!!!

Antony drool Verinus too. And Agrippa.
Servilia was great! It was Atia's fault Caesar turned on her. I loved both characters, but I also really like the actress who played Servilia.
