Has anyone heard of the Secret yet?

Can i just say that i'm annoyed coz I knew the Secret before it became the Secret!!!

It is postitive energy that takes you where you want to go in life!!! Believeing and focus and positivity. Extreme optimism- maybe...but hey with such persistence- in all aspects of life...you CAN attain what you want. IT could take ages but the key is...THE SECRET!!!

And then i saw a freakin ad for it for the Oprah Winfrey show too!! LOL!!

C'mon this is nothing new- the problem is in this day n age it is hard for most people do adopt that way of thinking. It requires strength and is not a product of what we are so accustomed to: instant gratification- if i can't get it now i can never get it, it ain't gonna happen it's too much hard work it should just happen like THAT. Nah ah.

I was right all along...

Yeah the DVD is great and it explains things well I think. And really the secret shouldnt be a secret if ppl really thought about it lol. Common sense I suppose.

I have the dvd. I've seen it several times. I think it's a great documentary. There's nothing new to me, just a confirmation of what I already knew. It's also very much like the "What the bleep do we (k)now? " documentaries.
It's great that it's a worldwide bestseller. People have to know that u create your own world with your thoughts.

well, i saw the dvd and I tried doing the map...I'm just waiting for the stuff I want to appear.

The good parts are sorta profound common sense.

A lot of it, however, struck me as very western/American materialistic bladyblah and primarily a way to sell books/dvds by telling people what they want to hear.

I mean, if I really embody the knowledge that I'm going to have a Porche SUV by next month, I'm gonna have it? Great! Will that work for the woman in Africa who would like to become well-fed and HIV negative?

Sorry to be pissy. I think the core idea of positive thinking is powerful.

It's simply truisms that have been in existance for all time. If you have positive energy around you and you focus in on it and let it lead you, you will end up in good places. It takes determination and striving...2 things that people like Oprah already has. She never needed the Secret, she's been onto that for years now...I'm betting that someone told her that she already knew the secret, she just didn't know that she knew it.

I was really unimpressed with this...the dvd was a shit info-mercial, the fact is better material has been written on the subject by better human beings and that guy with the mullet...WTF is that?
